In the legend of Arthus there is a devil with a virgin, a fortune teller and wizard. He was the adviser of King Arthus. The legend says that the fairy Viviane help the wood Broce’liande in eternal sleep.
The Sword in the Stone
The old King was dead. The throne was free, nobody wanted the crown and the fear spread over the country. Without help the country was at the mercy of the enemy and warriors. Without a new king - a good and strong king - there was no hope, but only darkness and fear.
One day, on a path in a wood, the dark shape of a wizard came. His name was Merlin. Merlin was as old as the roots of the old Oaktree. He could catch the air and transform it into poety. His black eyes could read the future. Merlin was he, who by magic put a sword in the stone and said: “ Where is the man, who can pull sword out of the stone? He is the legal king of Britian.“
All the strong men came to this sword and tried to pull it out of the stone. Arthus was the only legal king of Britain.

Magic and Secret: The legend of Arthus played in the magic world. Merlin had a sister, Morgan le Fay who was a witch and his enemy. She had influence over Britain with her magic.
In the legend, Merlin was first mentioned as a poet and prophet. Depending on the situation he changed between hermit or wizard. He could transform him-self and others. He could see in the future. He knew, that Arthus would become King and that Ginevra will be the cause of his problems and decline.
Stonehenge: According the the legend Merlin had created the big stone ring. Stonehenge is a stone ring with 30 m diameter. It is in the plain of Salisbury, in the south west of England. It is the most famous and the biggest in Europe. it has four stone rings. It has blue stones, cover-stones and glitter-stones.
Morgan le Fay: The witch Morgan le Fay was Merlin’s sister, but also an enemy. She had learnt the magic from Merlin. She wanted to destroy her brother. Morgan wanted to transform her into a snake. She could fly on a broom.
Nimue: Merlin fell in love with Nimue. She had very long brown hair and green-brown eyes. She was very beautiful, but she was false. She sang Merlin with her beautiful voice a wonderful magic song and Merlin slept. She killed him and then went in the city of humans. Then Merlin died.
