29th May: John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born as the second of nine children of
the entrepreneur and diplomat Joseph P. Kennedy (1888-1969) and Rose Fitzgerald
(1890-1995) in Brookline (Massachussetts/USA).

1926
The family moved to New York town center.

1938
29th May: John F. Kennedy got 1 million dollars for his 21st birthday from his father.

1940
July: Publication of the revised final work under the title „Why England Slept“. The book became best-seller with 40000 sold copies.

1944
August: After the plane crash, where his older bother died, John F. Kennedy was to carry out the political plans of his father.

1946
5th November: In Boston he was chosen into the House of Representatives for the democratic party.

1953
12th September: Kennedy married Jaqueline Bouvier (1929-1994).
From the marriage three children followed.

1955
John F. Kennedy began to write the book “Civil Courage“.

1956
August: Publication of “Profile in Courage“ (civil courage). Kennedy nominated Adlai Stevenson as a presidency candidate with the democratic Party Congress.

1960
2nd January: John F. Kenndey communicated his own candidacy for the president.
8th November: He was elected President of the of the USA, his brother Robert F. Kennedy (1925-1968) in the office of the Minister of Justice.

1961
20th January: Kennedy became, as a first catholic in this office, the 35th President of the USA.

1962
11th September: Churschtschow warns the USA that an attack on Cuba is the outbreak of the 3rd World War.
27th Sebtember: President Kennedy explains that the USA nuclear weapons will begin, if they are attacked from Cuba or if West Berlin gets into danger.

1963
22th November: John F. Kennedy is shot dead in Dallas/Texsas. The act is examined by the Warren commission and they came 1964 to the conclusion that the main suspect was Lee Harvey Oswald, who was shot two days after the act.
