Tony Hawk was born in Carlsbad (California) on the 5th December 1968. He is 1m 86cm tall and his weight is 85 kg. He lives in San Diego (California) now. Tony Hawk is absolutely the best skateboarder in the world. He was the first who jumped a 900 degree spin in a halfpipe!! He has invented many other tricks, for example: stalefish, 720, varial 720, 540 ollie, 540 spin in a halfpipe.
When Tony Hawk was a child, he wasn’t a good child. He made nothing his parents said. He was a very difficult child.Tony began skating when he was 9 years old. His brother gave him a blue fiberglass banana board.
But he wasn’t very good. He was the worst skater.But he learned to make tricks. Practice makes perfection. And now Tony has won everything a skater can win.

I think Tony is a very special man. He was terrible and only with practice he learned and invented all these tricks. I live like that, too. I play basketball and I must always learn more.
